Warm, glowing orange sunset light makes my heart so full. Everything about the light at that time of day is radiant beyond what my mind can even process. It’s from heaven. It's how I was blessed at the end of a great day behind my camera this past weekend.
I started at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach in the morning, which was bustling with happy people; people getting breakfast at Konos, riding rental bikes, running along the boardwalk, and hanging out with their (also happy) dogs. Being so new to San Diego, it was a real novelty to start a day of "work" in a place like that!
The day wrapped up at La Jolla Shores in the brilliant minutes before sunset. A cozy, orange cast highlights the left side of the last photos from this session....overwhelming. That’s the best word to describe it. The sun is so personal at the end of the day.
Now If I could convince anyone to meet me around 6:30am, we could capture a similar day-giving glow from a sunrise. I know that’s ambitious and I won’t push the issue. No worries, future photo people. Let’s stick with the sunsets. Unless you're serious. Then I'm game for 6:30am ;)
